FOUNDATION: COLOUR WHEEL

1) How do you mix a tertiary colour?

To make a tertiary colour you need two primary colours, which are red, blue and yellow, to make purple, green and orange.

2) How do you make a colour neutral?

To make the colour neutral, which is  grey, you need for example; the colour green and start adding a bit of red slowly. you will start getting the colour grey. Add white to make it lighter.

3) How do you mix a shade of brown?

To make the colour brown, you mix all the primary colours with it's complementary colours.

4) “What considerations might lead you to modify your original idea or plan when you are in the process of developing your art work?”

My first plan was to make the sun since we see colours because of it. The background was quite plain so I started added the colour grey. As the next day came I realized that it is hard to make the same grey. I kept going and noticed it look liked the sun was being swallowed by grey and darkness. What would actually happened if we didn't have it.

5) “What evidence can be found in your portfolio/sketchbook of how the exploration and revision stages changed your original idea?”

In my sketchbook I hade to revise how many colours I had to fit into the sun. Using a protractor, I got the exact degrees for each colour so it would be even.
